THE FABRIC
バーシティジャケットは、アメリカの大学や高校の代表選手たちが着用していたことに由来する、いわゆる"カレッジ風ジャケット"。日本では"スタジャン"として70〜80年代に一世を風靡した、永遠の定番です。
"ST-1 JACKET"では、そのクラシックな空気を踏まえつつ、THE FABRICらしい現代的な再構築を施しました。
シルエットはMA-1を思わせる、ややボリュームのある形をベースに設定。生地にはウール70%、ポリエステル20%、アクリル5%、ナイロン5%の混紡素材を採用し、保温性と耐久性を兼ね備えた、バランスの良い仕上がりを実現しています。
リブにはウール100%のクラシックタイプを使用し、昔ながらの表情と品のある伸縮性を再現。ボタンもオリジナルで製作し、細部まで妥協のない仕立てとしました。
何年経ってもワードローブに残る、"本物のスタジャン"として持っておきたい逸品。

The varsity jacket traces its roots to American high schools and universities, where it was worn by student athletes—the origin of what we now call a "college-style jacket." In Japan, it became widely known as the "stadium jacket," sweeping through the '70s and '80s as a timeless classic.
With the "ST-1 JACKET," we've taken that classic spirit and reimagined it through THE FABRIC's modern lens.
The silhouette draws from the slightly voluminous form of an MA-1, constructed from a fabric blend of 70% wool, 20% polyester, 5% acrylic, and 5% nylon—delivering both warmth and durability in balanced harmony.
The ribbing is crafted from 100% wool, reproducing the traditional texture and refined elasticity of vintage varsity jackets. Buttons are produced as original hardware, ensuring every detail meets our standards.
