“CP-RIB HOODIE”
ここ5年でブランドの定番へと育ってきたRIB HOODIE。 僕らがこの形にこだわり続ける理由は、チャンピオンのリバースウィーブのように――"時代が変わっても着られ続けるもの"を自分たちの手で作りたかったから。
肩までリバースパネルを伸ばし、可動域を広げる。フードは立ち上がり、シルエットが決まる。THE FABRICが考える"THE HOODIE"を形にしたのが、このモデルです。
カットソー類はほぼすべて糸から作り込むのがTHE FABRICのやり方。このフーディも例外ではなく、最初はしっかり硬め、着込むほどに程よい柔らかさが出る裏毛を綿100％で編み上げてきました。
そして今季、新たな一歩としてポリエステル14％をブレンド。軽さをプラスしつつも、これまで培ってきた"綿の重厚感"はそのまま。重量は約15％カットしながら、着た印象は変えない。素材から設計し直すことで、ようやく辿り着けたバランスです。
縫製はほぼフラットシーマ。裾はまたぎの二本針、首元は裏ロック。ミニマルな見え方の中に、必要な強さと機能をしっかりと込めています。裏起毛もポリエステルを少し含ませることで、肌に触れた瞬間に分かる"やわらかさ"と"軽いぬくもり"を実現。
気づけばつい手に取ってしまう――THE FABRICが考える日常着の理想形としてのフーディ、その逸品。

Over the past five years, the RIB HOODIE has grown into a core staple of THE FABRIC.
Our commitment to this silhouette stems from a simple ambition: to create something that, like Champion's Reverse Weave, remains timeless—worn and valued across generations.By extending reverse panels to the shoulders, we expanded mobility and comfort. The hood stands with clean structure, defining the silhouette. This is THE FABRIC's vision of "THE HOODIE."
As always, our cut-and-sewn pieces begin with the yarn itself. For this hoodie, we've long crafted a 100% cotton fleece that starts firm, then softens beautifully with wear—developing character over time.
This season marks a new step: blending in 14% polyester. The addition brings lightness while preserving cotton's depth and presence. Weight drops by roughly 15%, yet how it wears remains unchanged—a balance achieved only by rebuilding the fabric from its foundation.
Construction relies on flat-seam stitching throughout. The hem carries a two-needle cover stitch; the neckline, an inside overlock. Minimal in appearance, deliberate in strength and function. The brushed interior contains a hint of polyester as well, delivering gentle softness and warmth from the first touch.
A hoodie you reach for without thinking—THE FABRIC's refined expression of what everyday wear should be.
